New bday invite

My little guy is turning 1 next week! I can't believe it. Anyway, I just had to share the bday invites I had made up. Did them as 4x5.5 post cards with a linen texture.

My kid's Valentine cards

They chose the the colors and the stripes (which I hand made...one by one. Talk about tedious!) and I put it all together for them.
These are the cards they'll be handing out at school, so that's why Hayden doesn't have one. I have a camera lens on the fritz, so none of the pictures are up to my satisfaction. No worries though. I have a new one on order!
We ordered these as 4x5.5 post cards and we'll be punching holes in the left side and inserting suckers.

In case you've ever wondered...

why pro photographers cost so much...
Here's a great article on the subject. I get asked this question frequently, and this puts it better than I've seen it put.

Why are Professional Photographers so expensive? (This article has been very well received by the photography community, and is now referred to by many Photography websites across the country)
In this digital age where everyone has digital cameras, scanners and home "photo printers", when people upload their photos to a local drug store website and pick them up a few hours later, we hear this all the time - How in the world do Professional Photographers charge $55 for an 8x10 when they cost just $1.50 at the drug store?
Here's why. To continue reading, click here.
